I feel like the author changed their mind midway about who was endgame because the story was set up with Yahwi obviously carrying all the flags of redemption arc and endgame while Cain was the side piece but now quite suddenly it seems like Jooin will either get closure with both and be alone or go with Cain (like the title and text on the ring suggests). Not that I mind, I think Cain is the better option, but it feels out of nowhere
