I’m really glad that they didn’t immediately return back to her skinny/muscular body right after she had the baby. They still drew her soft and chubby like. But at the same time i hate when artist only draw fair skin people. Like the desert is the ONE PLACE you can usually count on some dark skin/ tan people because it’s the frickin desert! And yet somehow they’re even whiter than people outside the desert

Which party are you talking about that lives in the dessert? This comment got me confused on that part.

They just introduced a new set or characters in the last 2 chapters that live in the desert.

Ok, then you’re right people in the Middle East look very different though people of higher class end up on the lighter range of things. There are also other factors like ruling over a place where you’re a minority. Or if they were heavily married into places like Lebanon. Ofc all of this isn’t an excuse for not drawing darker skinned people. Like you have one token black girl please but I still don’t think it’s a problem the prince is very light skinned. Some of his associates can compensate for the loss of diversity. But more that everything I want to put an end to 2 things: fetishizing dark skinned characters and making the ONLY dark skinned characters villains. It gives me brain damage
