He did redeem himself,it was a good character development for the ML and the flow of the story is not toxic at all.

Just realized this is finished. I dropped it because the ML was super toxic, does he redeem himself (like admit he is in the wrong and reflect on his mistakes), or do people just ignore the red flags and read the rest anyway?
