I completely agree with this comment! The fact that Matthew was drugged without his consent and was forced to think it was a dream because of it is what made him like this! Plus he was frustrated and angry because of the happenings and the stuff that dude said to him about Jin, please try to understand it in that way. He thought it was a dream ffs we know Matthew won't do that while sober.

"In real life yall defend rape victims for having alcohol in their systems because they aren’t able to consent " for this line your logic is flawed.
In real life situation people defend the rape victim because it's wrong to take advantage of drunk person first of all and the carelessness done by the victim getting them drunk result is that they got hurt themselve in this situation.
But if someone is drunk and do rape you, you will not take their side because they are not the one who get hurt . You will not going to defend them like oh it's ok you are drunk so I will not going to report you.The situation is totally different.
There is a difference If you are drunk and got yourself hurt while driving. And you are drunk but you got into accident which cause the other person death .

No, poor phrasing, so sorry! Thank you for pointing that out. My point wasn’t on general rape so I didn’t extrapolate enough. Rape is rape regardless. I was saying that anyone under the influence isn’t able to consent on either side. Just because Matt is the top doesn’t mean he’s able to consent to this or has the wherewithal to know whether what he’s doing is a dream or not. Jin mentions this multiple times. Doesn’t justify or excuse his actions but does explain them. And as we learn, he does in fact get hurt as a result of his actions. He’s anguished when he comes to. An actual rapist would not be remorseful and I would never defend one, I’m a fan of castration and these hands being caught. Also, he’s not behind the wheel of a car so I can’t really go toe to toe with you on that example because that’s not relevant to this story lol. The point is that substances affect inhibitions that’s a fact and while we can be blamed for the choices that led us there if we CHOSE to take those substances, being drugged in this particular case was not Matt’s fault. That was my point. I hope I’m making more sense!

It's not about the top or bottom as both can force other in this type of situation but more about the control, as matthew is physical more powerful then Jin . Jin thought that he was strong enough to push matthew but situation got out of hand. And I just here for healthy discussion , don't take me wrong I am not attacking you about your comment.
So the fact that Matt did this to Jin made me just as wildly upset as everyone else but I’d like to just point something out that my psychologist says to me. “Just because we think about something or think about doing something doesn’t make us a bad person. Having the self control and awareness to know that we shouldn’t do it and the people around us don’t deserve to experience our internal turmoil is what separates us from the monsters we feel like.” (I call myself a monster a lot for context) So all the one sided Matt blaming… we gotta remember dude was drugged and had ZERO control of choosing what he got to show of himself. In real life yall defend rape victims for having alcohol in their systems because they aren’t able to consent so why is Matt any different bro is completely out of it. If roles were reversed I’d even wager yall would go hard defending babygirl Jin lol let’s just have some no bias here.
