Sorry if I said it wrong, English is not my first language. I meant like an after-effect or consequences after the mental manipulation, if he cannot take decisions by himself or something similar cuz it's shown multiple times that the witch has been "poisoning" him again and again cuz he keeps slipping out of her control and idk it could leave a mark on his mind
Were u thinking of the word "sequela"? English is also not my first language and is funny seeing someone make the same mistakes as me. Also I agree, I don't think he's evil, he is beeing controlled, I wonder if the reason why he often scapes the witch's control has to do with his loyalty to the empire or if he genuinely likes the FL
I think he likes FL for real so bad.. earlier in the chapters, he would "glitch" when he sees her but im not sure whats happening to him now.. the last update when Anita was twirling his hair.. it seemed like he was so into Anita instead.. it would be crazy if he turns out to be possed by the 1st emperor eventually somehow.. i cant imagine how that would happen.. but how else could we explain him blushing and looking so stoked after Anita did that to his hair while being brainwashed? It would be different if he broke after all those brainwashing attempts and was hallucinating it was the princess doing it.. but he was calling Anita's name so i still dont think it matches up.
SPOILERS!
He never liked FL, he has always liked Anita. He’s not actually possessed, he has the ability to take off the manipulation, but he pretends bc he loves Anita. Even towards the end, when Anita’s being punished, I think (I don’t remember much anymore) He begs his parents to be with Anita. Not sure if he killed himself after, but Anita never really loved him, rather, she felt bad after everything. But yeah, he doesn’t love the FL, even in the first life, everything he did was all him.
I wonder how the duke's son personality is like, like who was he before Anita took control of his mind and family and if being controlled will leave sequels on his mind
