I would like to agree, but a lot of these revenge stories go like that. I feel like she does deserve Alphonso because in this life she has consequences for destroying or harming the innocent for her gain. Also you have to understand that most victims probably weren’t innocent and Cesar was the first to show her some sort of affection so of course she was going to make him king.
Most victims probably weren’t innocent?? What are you talking about? I’m confused (〜￣△￣)〜 Cesar wanted to be king and she helped him kill people to make it happen. There was no indication the victims of their coup were guilty of doing anything wrong! Also, she killed Alphie in her past life and she targeted him in this life as a part of her scheme for revenge against Cesar. Ergo, she deserve Alphie in this life regardless of the consequences! Don’t get me wrong; I like the FL! But that doesn’t change what she did and her motives for getting close to him in this life!
honestly speaking, I understand what you mean and I highly respect it as well but I don’t agree entirely.
I think FL does deserve Alphonso for the pain she had to go through, no family, lack of love, no power. She found her “savior”, Cesar who was the first to show interest, to show how he “cared” which was a new emotion for Adriane.
Hence why she acted in the past, for his approval, she didn’t want to lose it. As a person who has never experienced normal happiness before, love, it’s understandable why she went through means, even murder, to keep that so called love. Everyone would do anything just to keep their happiness, that’s what he gave her.
Even if she did commit those acts, it doesn’t mean she didn’t regret them. That’s why she is trying to make amends now.
So, should Cesar be given a 2nd chance to make amends for the mistakes he made in his past life?
Cesar didn’t have any character development in this life either and FL knows Cesar’s true personality hence why she doesn’t want to be with him.
Cesare was not blinded in any way, the way he acted was according to his true nature will
in short, there would be no sense to forgive him
No… No… I mean to regress and be given a chance to be a better person in this life just like she is given a chance! This 2nd life is basically the same stupid life for Cesar b/c he’s oblivious and doesn’t know he should live and love differently in this life. But should he be given a 2nd chance to make amends for the mistakes he made in his past life?
Honestly for a person to go that bad as hell, there must have been something that happened (ofc i’m not saying what he did was alright, like hell no). if he was given a chance like FL, understood his mistakes and makes amends then why not? We could see how well he does and how much he atones. Because then again what he did compared to FL is WAAAY worst because as i said, it was his own nature. Perhaps if he did have better education and love he would have avoided that path, since from what we saw from his childhood, he wasn’t that bad. But yeahh, we would have to see if he is worthy to be forgiven
At first I thought the same thing as you . But as I continue reading, I see Ariadne go through the inner turmoil of how she doesn't deserve Al for what she did and she will do her best to make up for the misdeeds she did in her past life ,not fall in love with him and help him win against Ceaser. Plus It's not like Al remembers anything about how she killed him in the previous life. So I think it's okay
I know we’re all happy to see the FL’s character development and that she’s finally getting her revenge! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ Seriously , she has the worst family ever! But… there’s always a BUT… I still don’t think Ariadne should be with Alphonso b/c she was just as scummy as Cesar in her past life! She was an abysmal woman who did anything … ANYTHING, even murder … just for a man! It’s messed up that people are shipping her with Alphie when she helped Cesar stage a coup d'état and killed Alphie to become king… not to mention myriads of other innocent victims she callously helped Cesar kill in her past life. She is lamenting the fact that he used her just to be with Isabella in the end, but that doesn’t make her a better person than Cesar now that she has returned to the past. Maybe he changed in this life, too (OF COURSE HE DIDN’T… but still (〜￣△￣)〜…!!!) Does she deserve to be with Alphie? I think not!! (￣∇￣") Does she get a pass b/c Cesar made a fool of her and she wants revenge? Nope, not if you’re being fair!
