Not sure, but the way they implied that "they don't share the same blood" gave me the idea that they may be adopted brothers. And since they're adopted brothers, I don't think they could possibly be twins??┐(‘～`;)┌

Aight, so the mc clearly has something to do with the adopted brother of the ml who died(●´⌓`●). Not good news, I know, but for people to judge the mc for his poor decision in life is just mean(・–・;)ゞ. Yes yes, the mc is wrong for letting the ml do that to him, but considering that we still have a lot to uncover from their past, we shouldn't just make some assumptions that the mc is spineless, has no self-respect, dumb, etc. The mc clearly knows what he's doing ಥ‿ಥ and yes he's aware that what he's currently doing is not gonna do him some good he's whipped for the ml and apparently, their past is also one of the reason why he can't just let himself be.
