Even tho he said he wasn’t sure when we look at this whole chapter we just see the love those two have for each other. They went thru a lot and now they rely on each other. He’s not sure, doesn’t mean he’ll stop trying and loving. Life is uncertain but he’s ready to fight

    yeah tbh I took it as him just being worried about having the relationship SPECIFICALLY in the village, not that he's worried about having a relationship in general
