but if i had to say what I'm looking for, I would prefer if the relationship were between a girl and guy, around the same age no family and all that

sekine kun no koi might be helpful? possibly. oyasumi punpun forces the reader to relate no matter what, so thats also a good one. there were times when i wished you were dead may also fit? im unsure, you might be able to find something by looking at the recs on this page https://myanimelist.net/manga/1162/Bitter_Virgin/userrecs i do strongly encourage reading "a cruel god reigns" even if it doesnt quite fit what youre looking for exactly
