everyone seems to assume that Law liked Jesse(on the past stories) but this is not sure at all.
I don't say that he has not fallen in love in the future but Idk if he really liked Jesse .
He was basically enduring all that for the sake of his family's high position and his confortable life, no bcus he "liked" Jesse(it's pretty evident cuz he just remember his family or mon all the time everytime Jesse get angry)
..even when Jesse said "Do not ever talk to me again" to him , we can see he got a mental shock for his family losing his high status ,no bcuz he could not see Jesse anymore. He was not like "Oh noooo Jesse don't want see me" "I don't want to lose Jesse" .. he was like "my family will lose everything, I will lose my confortable life, This can not be"
I see what you are saying and I did say Law was doing what his parents engraved in him But you can tell Law is definitely not happy about using Jesse for his parents either. He blushes and there are times where with just one look Law is totally mesmerized by Jesse. Jesse enjoyed being what he was albeit also a product of his environment. Law would get literally sick thinking about all he had to do to not lose in the game his parents put him in. All I am saying is I sympathize more with Law than with Jesse. He could of just sent Law on his way knowing what his intentions were but instead opted to play with him on purpose. He has been playing mind games with Law since day 1. Lol
Oops I forgot to mention most here are on Jesse's side. They don't even like Law.

this is not about liking Law or not or liking Jesse more lollollol
We are reading the story of Law's prespective.(I mean, the past stories) So this is easy to know his thoughts and despite he blushed and find Jesse "interesting" (just as Jesse find him "interesting")...As someone said Law's only motivation was to survive rather than being someone to Jesse( at least until now). ofc Jesse really tried Law as a puppet but then Jesse knew Law want to use him too. So this looks like "you want to use me and my status to get benefits? fine, i'm gonna use you too."
Since I read raws ,I know the relationship will get deep in the future( from both sides)....still the relationship is quite complicated by external factors.
I knew there was a reason I disliked Jesse. I know he is a product of his environment. I know he knew what everyone including Law's family wanted from him...But...Law really genuinely liked him but as a child being bullied by his greedy parents especially mom, I understand him better. You could see his struggle between wanting genuinely to get close to Jesse and following his parents orders. The mental toll and level of stress for an adult is hard enough imagine for a child's. I am still team Law. Jesse was brighter than Law so he knew and understood what Law was going through and still treated him like a worn used puppet. Now it is all making sense. Very clever Mr/Mrs mangaka!
