Maybe I'm a bit insulted because I'm short too and all my family members are at least average or tall. I would hate to hear that I look like a child when standing next to anyone.

I believe that the skinny part is necessary to the story (since it shows the abuse she lives in) but the way she is drawn so petite doesnt add anything to the plot and simply makes her look like a child.
Many women look like adults even if they rock a wopping 4'11 in height; while this character doenst look like an adult next to the male lead. Thats it. (Maybe bcuz he is huge she looks like that?? Its just poor design choice imo)
The art is so gorgeous and i am so inlove with those historical visuals, but the height diffrence is giving me the icks she looks like a child next to him
