Author-nim once said that we ain't getting another cat so it's either our pleas of getting one is heard or he might transform into a different specie. Most of the fandom speculated that it's gonna be a dog (if not a cat) but wouldn't it be more cute if Pluton would transform into a muscular rat? Like those muscular rats that Tengen Uzui from Demon Slayer owned. HAHAHA
