Idk how people could see this as AI. Maybe theyre not very good at telling the difference.
It isn't ai, they've probably used 3d models to reder buildings, interior, vehicles etc. You can literally see the consistency in the art style in every panel. Or if that's still unbelievable just count the number of fingers, maybe?
I'm pretty sure only the cover is AI just because the clothing gloves and gear is a little nonsensical but in the chapters at least the characters are drawn there's a lot of 3d props
