Well it's just realistic considering the setting and how intertwined they are to the village community. I really hope things work out ok though. Best scenario would be that they dont have to necessarily hide their relationship. All the old folks seem kind and want him to settle dowm so bad hopefully they come around to accepting it without too many consequences before they do (⌒▽⌒)
usually it's the normalised SA or toxicity that ruins a good BL, but realistic expectations and homophobia had to rear its ugly head instead
i can't wait for the next season, i'll deeply miss this gem of a BL in the meantime
