Why are the art styles looking identical?

I don't know if the artist or author is the same and I don't remember their name but this art style and shading is getting generic for me. Manhwa's usually have multiple art styles but lately it's going the generic route like Manhua's and their fluffy royal sparkly ones.

The audacity! You can’t even afford the official webtoon so you’re stuck in here. And you complain about the artist’s work. The audacity really.

Koreans seem to follow trends so..
Lately this kind of art has been popular in Korea, maybe that's why...
Honestly there was a brief period, everyone in Korea talked about only Mint Chocolate, I don't even watch kdramas, my friends watch, they told me all about it... I noticed the mint chocolate in few Korean Manhua too...
And then one day... I brought one to try...
    And let me tell you...
    It's an ABOMINATION
SOMETIMES PEOPLE ARE SO WEIRD TO FOLLOW THE TRENDS THAT THEY END UP SABOTAGING THEMSELVES LOLOL
