I can’t decide how he’ll react… based on his previous reactions to gifts, he’s never thankful outwardly but I think he usually either accepts them or donates them like last time. I think he’ll be surprised but you may be right that he’ll mock Dan. Or the keychain is something meaningful since it’s worn and Jaekyung will be like “Who asked you to replace my things?”
I think Jaekyung may mention that Dan confessed to him and show a few rare emotions that send Dan for a loop. I think we might get to see the part before the two of them fall asleep, when it’s decided that Dan will sleep in the bed with Jaekyung.

It's obvious Jaekyung already knows Dan is injured but he doesn't act, yet. But I have a big feeling that the next chap is gonna be super interesting and at least we can see a real and longer conversation between them.
I was also trying to figure that out! He’s always looking at Dan like “…” and I’m so surprised that he hasn’t complained about it. Maybe he’s waiting for Dan to explain? It’s really unlike him to wait for anything though… he might just think Dan is trying to get away faster. He might also be tailing Dan and that call was a report. That feels unlikely to me, because he’s always like “that’s too much” but then he went online to buy toys and shit… literally premeditated the part where Heesung came over and saw them… so I’m not sure. He seems to lose his mind a little with Dan and doesn’t reflect until things calm down. He does seem to be more… chill with the alcohol. Might be a combination of pain relief and relaxing his usual uptight nature.
I always joke that “he reads”, because Mingwa said that in his bio, but wtf does he read?! And when? So by that, I think she meant to say that Jaekyung has critical thinking skills (where??) and might have just figured it out already.

That’s true too. If he was checking on what Dan is doing, he may misinterpret as Dan wanting to leave him. He’s very sure that Dan is his property but since Jaekyung isn’t one to hold a long relationship maybe he’s now suffering of anxiety?

What if he’s just pretending to be drunk? And I wonder who he was calling? What if he was calling for a man to come and join him to “celebrate” his birthday ? What if he wants a threesome and Dan is disappointed by it?
I’m glad though that Dan understands how Jaekyung truly is. But I’m sure and I’ll stand by it that Jaekyung will make fun of his gift. And when he fights and loses, he’ll toss that gift and humiliate Dan once again
