God damn that twist

These kids are a bunch of traumatised broken manipulators desperate for love (minus Ray the sunshine) and I do hope this second life will give all of them some form of happiness and redemption. Neither of the kids minus Ray so far seems to be spotless clean in the first life.

Theon toyed with Dora's heart to save his skin which initially boggles my mind on why he can't you just get a job as Ray's aide to stay by his side and have the light power calm his volatile dark power. Like, why go the roundabout way of being a brother-in-law just gor that?? But then I remember that he is the Duke and probably has his own territory to manage and couldn't stay all the time with Ray without valid excuse. Still didn't make sense tho.

Julia also plays a part for not urging Theon to explain the truth to Dora which I think really fuel Dora's decline to tyranny. She might be the least guilty as of the chapters now but I can't say baby girl is really innocent and guiltless.

Dora is so brokenly lonely and desperate for affection that she ended up a tyrant killing millions while Ethan is equally lonely simp desperate for affection that he ended up enabling Dora and partially responsible for those deaths by tyrant Dora.

These kids are broken AF. They all need theraphy and redemption arc in this second life.

The only person I think deserve no mercy, sympathy and redemption is Carnon. MF can drop dead and I will bring a party to defile his grave and celebrate his death.

From what I heard, Ray is also got his own problems. Because he’s such a sweetheart, daddy dearest was worried that Ray didn’t have what it took to rule so was very brutal in the educational department (verbally mostly)

Well, he didn't let that problem of his hurt other people in the first life whether intentionally or non-intentionally. Little Sun ain't really problematic compared to the rest of the kids, hence why I excluded him in my rant. He has his flaws but not rotten manipulators who hurt others like the rest. While I think other characters need redemption arc, Ray needs a glow-up growth arc instead. He has nothing bad from the first life to redeem.
