There's two ways to write yakuza
You never see what the yakuza is doing focusing on fluff slice of life (like in honto yajuu) or you show the violence and keeps in mind that they're criminals(mayday mayday / Roses and Champagne)

Please read the story before commenting, lets go to the chapter 3... As you can see in the chapter 3 Ao mentioned the change of yakuza leader in their town so its a bit risky now since the new leader.....
So the town was they other yakuza's den or place like they owned it was handeld by them its their territory.
Now seing another yakuza (Asuka) they're they find it threatening thinking that Ao's family betrayed them by going to another yakuza (which is asuka) and they donot like seeing another yakuza in their territory (Yakuza are very territorial, like animal so thats why it actually make sense That they have animal characteristics)

Dawg what the fuck are you talking about? Take a good hard look at what you said and then reread what I wrote. How is your comment even relevant? Also, yakuza being territorial is a very well known fact and you hardly even have to been tangentially aware of them to know that. Your comment was purposeless.
Facts. Or the 3rd way in which you criticise that entire lifestyle but you do it properly instead of half-assing it like here in which you keep the yakuza intact but still go violence is not the answer, like lol what?

Don't write a yakuza romance if you're gonna be preaching 'violence is not the answer!' Y'all trying to make yakuza monks out here.
Also, Ao would have been more sympathetic if the story acknowledged the fact that the perpetrators assaulted him, were about to rape him and talked about human trafficking and Asuka rightfully put a stop to that. Instead we got some stupid ass 'both sides are bad nonsense'. We really had the seme go 'Im sorry for going too far with the attempted rapists and human traffickers and also btw this is a yakuza setting'. Not to mention Ao's indecisive ass this chapter. Asuka deserves better fr fr.
