I think it was dropped cause I'm aware there's like 14 volumes on amazon jp and an audio drama Σ(っ°Д °;)っ really wishing it gets picked back up this year

It says 14 volumes, but if you see the last one is actually chapter 8. The author doesn't seem to continue the series for some years now :'( albeit they are active with a side story(?) of Nikki and other mutants on pixiv.
If someone can read the mutant's and then resume, I would be immediately grateful. I think it's like 10~ chapters or so in Pixiv.
Is it dropped or on hiatus? maybe the latter cuz the uploading dates are pretty distant
