Vehemently agree with the comments. Starting with the rumors— the Duke not only did not inform Aurora of the rumors he spread, but then proceeded to bicker against explaining his actions to her. This makes no sense, because the effectiveness of the rumors would only be increased if Aurora had been informed and could act accordingly.
The next act of sending her to manage a restaurant was interesting, but no real conclusion was met. Did they employ the poor residents of the land? How did she manage the clearly transient system of giving not provisions but food produced by the restaurant to the poor while serving customers AND paying employees?
Similarly, every arc has unanswered questions. Half-hearted plot aside, I will always enjoy the arranged marriage trope! Excited to see a rude Duke fall for the FL as usual!
