If you mean haein, then I think it’s because the other groups had already found it/were already in the house. If you mean why the people inside didn’t pretend to not have it, I’m guessing it’s because all the other groups watched them grab it. If you’re talking about og owner of gem and water spirit lady, I’m not really sure, maybe the same problem as haein.

Idk if i just skipped a whole part of it but why were they not able to just take the gem and pretend it wasnt thee in the first place? May just be my 2am brain (not)functioning but it sounds like the smartest thing to do at that point
