are we not reading the same story … if he wanted to be left alone he would have stayed in the country side like he did the past few years and he wouldn’t have came back let alone got the same job in the same hotel as her like??? he wants to be near her he just doesn’t think he deserves to be with her anymore cause of guilt and shame etc
Have you ever heard of no means no first, we don’t know if he knew she was still working there. That’s not clarified. Second, Even though WE know he doesn’t necessarily want to be completely away from her, his words to her said he doesn’t want to date. So why should she keep pushing? She should just let him come around

I disagree. I KNOW he wants her around. Ifs obvious. But he TOLD her no. It’s like you guys think words mean nothing? We as the readers know he wants her around. It’s been obvious. But if he says no, she should just respect that. Yall sound like the people who would say if a girl said no, she didn’t REALLY mean no cuz you know she wants it

I’m trying not to hate FL but I cannot stand characters that don’t know when to leave someone alone even if he does like her back, he wants to be alone for a reason. I’d rather the plot move back to a starting over as friends plot rather than her one sided bugging him
