The real treasure is not in the box, the box is a trap. Wudang elder opened the box and caused a disaster, everyone almost died, but they all (mount hua and wudang) worked together and managed to get out of the tomb. Spoiler for the location of the pill, Chungmyung found the pill outside the sword tomb
