Ofc he's a victim, almost got raped by a superior, had his reputation and career ruined by the same superior, he got a huge debt, his grandma is hospitalized, got beated and almost raped by loansharks, became homeless, abused and raped by a sociopath who also has complete financial control over him, he's living a hell of life and the only thing that keeps him going is deluding himself by "falling in love" with his abuser. This story basically have Stockholm syndrome as the main trope and "poor, naive and dumb mc going through misfortunes and horrible events in his life" -> so don't worry because i can still differentiate real life victims from fiction characters.
