Surprisingly enough, those things aren't actually vibrators. It's for massages. I saw it in a Don Quijote Store in Japan this year. It was part of the wellness section, not sex toys. Even the description said it's for massages.

It's also a very basic design for vibrators lmao I'm pretty sure that's what the author was going for
