Wooyeon have ASPD, a mental disorder that we call nowadays as psychopath. He can't understand normal emotions and he also explains the unwritten intention to Inseop so that Inseop will not leave Wooyeon.
Unwritten Intention refers to an act that may cause harm to others (example: Murder, Rape, Arson etc.). He knows the consequences but a person with ASPD will still do it. (Remember the scenes in which Wooyeon did something to others knowing the consequences.)
Willful Negligence - negligent acts where the defendant disregards the risks of their actions and is aware (or should be aware) of the possible impacts.
I'm not defending Wooyeon for raping Inseop because it's not right. I'm just saying that Wooyeon has mental disorder ever since he was a kid and can't understand emotions like love, caring for someone, etc. There's a scene where Wooyeon will explain his mental disorder to Inseop (so that Inseop won't leave him. He did it for Inseop to pity him because a normal person reacts like that after he told his sad memories).
In the 2nd volume of the novel after the Hawaii part, he always suppressed his desire to have sex with Inseop (because Wooyeon wanted to take good care of Inseop's health after Inseop almost died) and obeyed everything Inseop said (If Inseop doesn't want something, Wooyeon will listen and not force his way). He's still a red flag but he always tries to avoid doing something bad so that Inseop will not leave him.
So for me, in the 2nd volume, he's a red flag but changed even though he couldn't understand normal emotions. He patiently endured everything for Inseop and always asked Inseop's permission before doing something.
Yepp, Wooyeon loves Inseop so much. He let Inseop keep a cat that's afraid of Wooyeon, and let Inseop visit his parents for 2-3 days a week, and in exchange Inseop will stay at Wooyeon's house after letting Inseop visit his family. They promised each other that, before Inseop dies because of his weak heart, Inseop wanted to spend the rest of his life with Wooyeon, and the same goes for Wooyeon, he wanted to spend his entire lifetime with Inseop as long as he's alive.
In the 2nd Volume, you'll really appreciate Wooyeon for avoiding anything that might hurt Inseop including his possessive trait. He is possessive but he doesn't show it on Inseop in the 2nd volume to not scare him. But later on Wooyeon talked it out with Inseop and Inseop told his worries to Wooyeon, fixing their messed up relationship.
Omg I’m really glad , the r@pe scene and his possessive traits really threw me off, but I’m glad they could find somehow happiness in all this toxicity they went through, if I may ask does the novel has the same name as the manhwa here ? I’m really interested in reading it so I would like to and continue and I don’t want to wait for season 3 to come out cause god knows when XD
It's realll, but it's too far for the manhwa to adapt it. You'll be more frustrated literally. It's a long chapter of misunderstanding and miscommunication before they got to the part where they talked everything out with each other.
Remember, if the story is near the ending, that's where this manhwa has its good part. It's like the author will frustrate you with long chaps of problems then reward you with a satisfying ending whahaha
THIS IS SO TOXIC I CANT! IVE BEEN WAITING A HOPING THAT THEY HAVE LIKE SOME ROMANTIC MOMENTS AND THAT THE ML FALLS IN LOVE WITH THE MC BUT THEYRE BOTH DUMB AND THEYRE MAKING THINKS MORE DIFFICULT THAN IT NEEDS TO BE.
