Originally Baek Dohyun's kingdom was top 2 but dropped in rank cus like MC he quit, so the engineering kingdom became number 2. MC's rank stayed number 1 cus the number of floors he conquered on the tower was an impossible task for other kingdoms to essentially overtake.

As of now? Reading the novel, i was confused cus it was in MTL so i thought there separate rankings, cus baek dohyun said his kingdom was ranked 2 while engineering kingdom said he was ranked 2. Manwha kinda cleared that up with the new chap tho.

His cousin's not even in the 100+ rankings dw. Bro's on a high right now cus he's in an alliance that allows him to throw his weight around. As for Jaeyong and Baek, i'd say it's less about figuring out their rank and more like finding himself outclassed. The 2 are obviously stronger than him (jaeyong stopping and biting a poisoned chain, unaffected and Baek mind control powers overpowering the cousin's ally), with the show of strenght, he backed off cus he can't solo em.

It seems that you've misunderstood. The former second ranked empire was the Shadow Empire, the masked one, the one who groped MC. They became fifth as Engineering empire became 2nd.
Dohyun's Empire is the Domination (?) Empire. I forgot his former ranking, but right now he's probably 8th.
