SHORT MEMORY GANG!!

Are people seriously forgetting what she did to Alphonso in her past life?? like, is that a thing?? Why does she dare criticize her sister for doing exactly what she did to get Cesar on the throne? IMO she did worse!!

She never mentioned she felt bad for KILLING all those people that were blocking Cesar's path to the throne only lamented about how she was made fun of and did not fit in into their elite circle. It's amazing how the only crime her sister committed against her was poisoning her while NOT caring that she killed her sister's fiance... Alphonso??

Why does she get to be the only one who will do anything to "survive" but it's unforgivable for her sister to even think of marrying a good man and secure her future??

Like, seriously I do not get her rage and misdirected anger. I genuinely think she is deceiving Alphonso. You can agree or not but it does not change the facts.

Thanks

I understand all your points, but I think the main difference is Ariadne was blinded by love, which made her wicked, and Isabella is just...a bitch tbh. ngl I thought she was cool in the flashback, the whole survival of the fittest monologue made a lot of sense. But in the present she's just so whiny and annoying bro

I think we can also see with Ariadne, even in the present she isn't above killing. In the past, she was a killer for Cesar's sake. And now, she's a killer for revenge/vengeance. At first, she WAS just deceiving Alphonso for the point of getting back at Cesar, but as you continue to read you can see how her genuine feelings for him grow.

I also like how she didn't just become a good person after reincarnating. She's still a little evil, but she is the lesser between herself and Cesar. She does at times show guilt for killing Alphonso, but I agree it's generally overlooked. She does seem a little hypocritical at times, but I think if you understand the difference in motives between her and the villains of the story, it makes sense.

I also agree about the misdirected anger towards Isabella, but after what she did to Arabella, her haughty attitude, and the way she treated Ariadne when she was just brought to the cardinals home, bro I hate her too.

Right! And I have a feeling there's a darker side to Alphanso in this life. Whenever she gets close Ceasar you can not only see jealousy, but there's something else and I don't like it. Not trying to justify what Ceasar did in the past but I feel he hasn't become who is was in the other life so I am hoping she'll see that a give him a chance
