They both were driven kinda insane by their loves, I guess. Very unhealthy. At first, I get it--he was protecting her. But when she turned into evil bully, he sort of had created a monster protecting her and didn't know what to do but keep trying be her right hand man. At last, he realizes it's nuts, but he's wrong: It's not Yuri's fault that crazy bitch be crazy bitch. She did that all on her own. Yuri never seduced her or asked her to do any of that.
What Yuri IS at fault for is not believing in people, not going the extra mile to understand them, not seeing more than he wanted to see. He made people suffer horribly being that way. He was selfish. But he sees that now.
I hope Ayeon will change now, too, because you can tell he was in some sort of mad spell. He was a nice guy before and he can be a nice guy. But he has to get past toxic crazy chick.
Yuri was like that before his family got killed. He made himself oblivious to the sufferings of Scarred-Face guy (always forget his name). His friend was being tortured day in and day out, had to have some evidence ,some marks, some people sniggering. He chose not to see it. And even when ScarFace was SCARRED and almost died trying to save Yuri's mother, Yuri still avoided and blamed him. Dude had his face messed up TRYING TO SAVE YURI'S MOTHER--that should be repaid with kindness/gratutide, not hate.
Yeah I know but the guy with glasses - I also forget most of the names in this manhwa - was envious from the very start.. You know Yuri's situation before the fire was enviable for someone who lives in a bad family situation... His mother was cheating on his father there was abuse he was not in the best condition as well.. And somehow I think I forgot along the way that they're all kids actually!
Hmm I don't know... I mean Yuri was admirable and I think that's the way the guy with glasses felt but valuing a friendship doesn't contain those negative feelings and hurtful words of wishing that your friend to just die or disappear... Especially if he was one of the few people who are being kind and thoughtful to you ... Aside from the fact that Yuri did or didn't turn a blind eye to his bullying situation he was a good friend that's why glasses guy felt guilty after saying those things to him..
He said it right after he was victimized to the end of his rope. Anyone with half a brain would see this guy lying on the ground being surrounded by bullies, beat and humiliated, and they should think, "He's speaking out of his pain and horror."
Friends sometimes say very hurtful things in times of extremis, and then they calm down, explain and apologize. Yuri, even after this guy went over and risked his life to save his mom, gave no slack. That's a very unforgiving nature.
If he had really hated Yuri, he wouldn't have put up with daily abuse. Yuri should have figured that one out, but he didn't bother.
That is true... and lets not forget guys, glasses-kun chose to keep his bulling a secret. (like jaerim not that i agree with what happened to them) Whenever yuri saw what was happening he would put his foot down and tried to stop it (with glasses-kun). all crazy bitch did was hide in a corner or behind someone ( cause she knows what she was(is) doing was wrong!) Im not saying yuri is not at fault! but im saying things took a turn for the worst because of this elements and psycho crazy bitches.
Yes, glasses guy had the decency to feel bad about his words While Yuri was unforgiving and nasty. Even after time had passed, he didn't properly reflect on HIS error and lack of gratitude for the near-death attempt to keep one member of his family alive.
That's the difference. The friendship mattered more to Scarface than to Yuri. Yuri disposed of Scarface just like that; Scarface was tormented over it.
Sooooo basically Sunbae went like this " (That bitch's name cause I couldn't care less about her) You are bullied because of a guy that you like and want to protect but I like you so I'll be your sidekick and rape that guy's boyfriend for you so that they break up and you be happy "! Hmmmm Yeah doesn't make any sense to me.
