This is exactly my thought, I understand every other reason to hate him but the baby is totally a reasonable choice. They can try for another. Would people rather have Damien save the baby but mostl likely lose Chloe and have the child grow up without a mother??
What "growing up without a mother"? She'll most likely die before the baby is born so it was necessary to save her at least rather than letting both of them die （￣へ￣）
I mean if i was Damien i wouldve forced her to drink it too id rather save my wife than an unborn child
