Yeah, I can definitely see what you mean! It feels like I could find this character in a highschool romance just as well. There's no maturity to him I guess, which is fine if someone likes characters like that ( the sweet nice mc who's indecisive ) but it's not really interesting to read since this type of character is exactly as you see on the surface. Transmigration stories become more fun when you see new sides to seemingly cliche characters. I read anything but I tend to prefer confident and mature mcs in romance (I find them more endearing and theyre less wishy washy).
Hmmmm... this is another manhwa I have mixed feelings about. This isn't about which male lead is going to win (not that far into it but its kind of obvious who it is). The characters feel very stereotypical, especially the main character. I know that's the point since theyre in a novel, but it's hard to get attached to them especially if the characters are supposed to be developed beyond the surface level story the main character read. I can see why people like it though. There are two love interests and the family stuff is sweet. I wasnt interested in the cooking but I could see that being a draw for some people. There also just aren't a lot of translated shounen ai transmigration stories so at least this one was.
