A clueless protagonist can be annoying as hell, but if you do it right, it can be fun. I think this is an example of doing it right. Her being clueless about his feelings isn’t really supposed to be causing misunderstandings that cause immense drama. It’s just funny and has you chuckle and feel bad for the ML, but not in a way where you like, actually feel horrible. You’re just kinda like, “You’ll get her next time, bud.” So good job on the mangaka for using the clueless protagonist trope but without the eye roll worthy drama that makes you scream at the protagonist that typically comes with it.
