I feel you. Like I just can't seem to understand what is going on in Alex's head.
I think the answer is on pages 21-22, Lily plays on Alex mind and confidence. First she says that Cole made a bet to whether he could sleep with her or not ( an issue of trust since Cole had told him to sleep with girls if he could not satisfy him) and then she states that Alex is going out with a gay man (so Cole is the only man for Alex, but it does not mean that Alex could be the only man for Cole)
yeah I think that's the reason he's miserable, bcuz when she said the word 'bet', he got a bit pissed, it was written all over his face, but damn talk about a pushy bitch she never stop til she got what she wanted （￣へ￣）

Can anyone explain why Alex is miserable? Is it because Cole is not getting jealous or he wants to breakup or something else?
