Dunno if this is oddly specific but this is like a really rare(?) Trope. I like it when the ml is usually an uke with other guys but is exclusively a seme with the mc lol. I really dig it.

What are oddly specific bl tropes you’ve noticed
For me, it’s when a character’s introduced to make the seme jealous, but in the end it’s revealed that they weren’t into the uke at all and the seme was their type.
