Fr, there's a bunch father daughter manhwa/manga i've read, Daughter of the emperor still placed number one in my heart. It's already the 10th time i reread this and ch 16 always makes me cry like a bitch. Not to mention DOTE one of first gen to popped out genre like this

There's so many reason why i love this manhwa 1. Adrianna is not a fake ass bitch. Rather than flattering her dad with sweet honey comb words she basically be herself, without any fakeness like other FLs in this type of genre story. Even from the first chapter she already show how annoyed she was with her dad, later she began to talk sweet with her dad sometimes bc she knew that her dad is the only relative and one of few person that really cared for her without even Caitel knowing it.
2. Father daughter interaction isn't forced. Again like any other type of same theme, i could say Daughter of the emperor have the most daring yet funny interaction between the dad and the daughter. There's no forcing in their dialog, they basically just bluntly said what in their mind. Nagging at each other, yelling, teasing each other...for me it's the most sweet, funny, yet genuine family relationship ever.
3. Adrianna have many flaws, she isn't a perfect princess nor have great power shown at the very first chapter. She's just an ordinary person got reincarnated as a daughter of a tyrant emperor, she could be lazy, rude and kind at the same time. She's not that smart, nor she's forcing herself to study hard just bc she is a mentally adult woman. She just want to be a child again, not to be known as some genius at a young age.
4. Perspective. I really really appreciated the author by making some chapters in the perspective of Caitel, Asisi, etc. Them making these perspective making me have more understanding about each character and i began to love the characters even more.
5. Straight forward plot with no unnecessary drama. Seriously only fluff i got here and no one can say otherwise, unlike 'that popular one' who have so many drama in the plot making me irritated af.
6. Character Development. On Caitel we can see how much he change for the better which is I'm proud to see his growth. But I'm not really expecting so much from a tyrant cuz basically all his life he's been a murder. He's calming a bit, he tried t be a good father and person because his daughter want him to be. He really loves Adrianna more than he ever imagine, and it's genuine without him even knowing it.
There's still many but I'm too lazy to write. Overall, Daughter of the emperor is the best theme father daughter manhwa ever and no one can said otherwise.
Lastly this manhwa more into slice of life rather than any genre lmaoo, bc It's just full of ria playfull life with her dad and other handsome dad underlings lol
