The arbiter will keep following him, because he finds him suspicious.
In the end all the base will be infiltrated by monsters so they will leave.
An ze finds his spore and takes it with him.
They will arrive in a place where humans and half human live peacefully, but smtg catastrophic happens with the world, so An ze is the only one that needs to sacrifice his life to save humanity.
The spore isn't his child, it's a copy of himself. So after an ze dies, the spore will become An ze..the arbiter will be there with him, to help him..that what I remember from the novel.

so the spore is like his second body, like his soul will be transfer to it if his original body gets destroyed,,,, does he keep his memories? or is it like it’s a new him and he was reborn?
