I feel like it's too much drama for too little relationship, I mean, from Cain side, a (ridiculous and random) past life carries a lot of weight, from Yahwi side, a tender childhood friendship amongst severe lifelong trauma, has a loooot of weight. The problem is Jooin, he's plain, boring and a doormat. He doesn't have trauma himself and a bad relationship with both over a few months (in which he didn't seem to be able to stablish limits) doesn't justify that he's a crybaby constantly. I mean... All the drama comes from him. For the two semes, losing him is a true tragedy, but for him is meh, he doesn't remember his past life and his mom wasn't murdered. Do what's the big deal for him? His love for any of the semes is superficial at best.

OMG that's so true. I agree with everything you said. I mentioned multiple times that Jooin is the problem. I never felt connected to the story because as you said the amount of drama was so unnecessary for such relationships between the three characters. While Jooin was treated badly and I do get why he felt the way he did, he never truly tried to understand either Yahwi or Cain. I honestly felt sick when he told Yahwi that he is using his parents' tragedy to buy his sympathy. Like dude you for real? If Yahwi treated you like trash in the past it was half his fault and half your own stupidity for not knowing how to handle having a crush without being stepped on or setting boundaries. I don't even feel a single emotion when he cries. It honestly shows the author's incapability to portray a story worth reading. While the author improved the drawing over the years, the story just took a downfall with every update. It's one of the few stories I don't even anticipate getting updated

Yeeees. Jooin is portrayed as a victim "the" outmost victim, but out of the three he ranks a far third on the tear jerking story. Yahwi is a huge victim, of his own family, of circumstances, and partially, of Jooin, dude needs therapy and was toxic himself, but that's realistic with his past. Cain has been nothing but supportive and patient, and dude's traumatized cuz the author did a number on him with such ridiculous backstory! Was ostracized by his family FOR Jooin, and J had to make little of his story... Jooin is dumb, selfish and such a clumsily written character!
