Such a disappointment

I honestly can tolerate females most of the time in stories, but this fiancee really just ticks off all the boxes I hate about female characters in stories. Supposed to be strong (original protagonist of the game even) but acts like a weakling, judges/observes ml coz he is "interesting", has some inferiority complex that prob cannot be overcome without mc's help, clings onto and bothers ml for whatever reason, follows mc and becomes deadweight (like who tf goes into a dangerous forest in pajamas), and most importantly acts blushy blushy all the freaking time while with/thinking about the mc. Author/illustrator obviously hasn't interacted with women before.

Overall storytelling also mediocre. Full of plot armour and inconsistencies. Also bad at creating suspense, wow the +0.1 stamina at the last minute was so shocking and the Griffin fight was so intense I almost fell out of my seat. Felt like something a 14 year old could write, just attribute everything to either mc being gaming veteran or just plain coincidence. The manhwa just isn't bringing the characters nor the plot to life.

You took the words right out of my mouth, this is exactly what I look for in stories. The ability to flesh out the story, let the conversations flow naturally and not force the relationships. I thought authors would realize by now that they are just putting their lazy storytelling in the pool of all the other unoriginal action stories, but I guess there's a demand and people are in it for the action hype and forcefed underdog success. Like if you're using the same plot device repeatedly to make the mc come out on top there's basically no substance at all.
