Basically, at the coming of age party that will probably come in the next few chapters, Penelope reveals Ivonne!s existence before poisoning herself. A lot goes down and basically some people like the prince and I Think Reynold realize they should care about Penelope and take care of her, but others like Derrick are still attached to Ivonne and don’t care

I read some rough translations of the novel, but why did she poison herself? I didn't get that part.
im pretty sure it was because she was so miserable she just wanted to escape this world and die on her own term
If i remember corectly in the original history someone poisons ivonne an blames Penelope, but in reality Ivonne does it to her self to apear like a victim, so Penelope drinks the poison so no one can blame her.
