I wonder if the real Hikaru is still in there somewhere but his conscious is just buried? Maybe "Hikaru"'s memory loss was the actual Hikaru resurfacing, and his first instinct was to see Yoshiki.
Honestly it seems too good to be true considering who the author is LMAO
