lol sorry there was supposed to an emoji to express my sarcasm but it didn’t come through. Unfortunately, I do believe that the Duke is the end game ML and will likely SA the MC and probably is the guy who left the hickeys in the first place (which won’t exclude him pretending to be mad about them and using them as an excuse to assault the MC again).
