So if the power the author has on the characters is decreasing, wtf is up with the older brother? Is he really THAT obsessed with Lize that he's helping her kill Edith? Or is he the one most shackled by her? Because it makes zero sense for him to eliminate someone his brother (and rival) is falling in love with. Wouldn't he be like "go to your castle with your wife and stay away from Lize"? I can't believe he's dumb enough to keep the mindset of doing anything for her just to see her happy.
Personally me I feel like since ml doesn't have a shot with lize he's naturally just moving on and finding a new love while cliff is still in love with lize so he isn't changing much. Plus he was probably already like that from the start
