Not really. It's based off the novel and ssooo many novels are like this. Chinese authors get paid by word count so they all kinda drag situations that could easily be solved in just a couple chapters to hundreds and it gets tedious. They also always include a higher world or realm to reset the novel and have the protagonist drop down to a beginner again pls honestly, you read one and you've practically read them all
