right, i’m confused beyond words too maybe the translation plays a big part in this too and some parts were mistranslated…? or maybe the author purposefully left it ambiguous to keep the readers on edge :,D
i’m not sure if it's just my intense need for them to get things kicking, but I kind of feel like they actually did kiss. Rayburn recalls it and even expressed regret for doing THAT. … maybe angela just forgot about it out of sheer shame and embarrassment

At the end of the nose kiss chapter i think prince heads in for a kiss but they’re interrupted by the guy that comes into the maze. So I think he’s referring to the fact that he ALMOST kissed her and she either forgot or didn’t realize due to the distraction.
Also the regret is probably just to like.. protect her or something? I mean we all know he’s head over heels so..
