why man kept turning off and turning back on the petrification beam in a pattern called morse code which was picked up by senku's antenna. The petrication beam was set to turn mosquitoes to stone tho in the process.
It took me a second read to put this together, but I thing the why-man is pretending to be Byakuya. And that's why Ryusui so mad, because it's unethical to do that. I have no idea why he stoned the mosquitos tho-
