the BL undertones (potato and wolf), even if it's and AU within the story, it is still kinda uncomfortable to read. And, yes, I know it's a fanservice for the readers but still the uncomfortableness will always be there.

This is just my theory but you know, shippers gonna ship as they may think it's ok since they're not blood-related so the author made the AU that they don't have the father and son relationship before so it's less immoral to ship? This is just my guess btw

I agree with the reply above. Shippers' gonna ship. No matter the circumstances given, there will be shippers. Can't really do anything about it
