EXACTLY. And ppl are hating on him when he CLEARLY wanted out. By ONLY interacting and having sexual relationships with betas, he can avoid that bloodbath, unfortunately for him....he got caught in it anyways. Pretty sad. And the ppl are only aggrieved by him. They never thought to look from his perspective. Only Noah's. Noah is serious of being with him in the omega -alpha way. Whereas Ian didn't want any part of that. That's just who he is. Why is EVERYONE blaming him when it's just natural course of action for an alpha in rut who happens to be greeted by a naive beta-turned-omega, presented himself as a ready-made-meal?!? It's not his fault. He was already turned on and isolated. No need to feed him. Hahah
And this series is one where they actually layout that issue which is Alpha and Omega are really a regression of humanity. The seme really hit the nail on the wall with relating their roles to that of animals. I think regardless of what role your in being controlled by instinct sucks. I think if anything their reactions where out of any their control. Betas usually get looked down on but they have it best in these universe free of instinct.
