It's honestly the same thing in streamer/viewer community though? Only it's more extreme, life-or-death situation. If I was in that universe as a top ranker with lots of coins to spare, I wouldn't hesitate to splurge a lot into Jaeju too. Like, if someone hurts the (baby) player that I like and have been watching their growth since floor one, I would be DESTROYING them.
I get splurging financially cuz I stanned a korean boygrouo haha I just don't get physically intervening for someone you don't really know... They're putting their lives at risk by doing what they did. Would you really go as far as they did for some streamer?
Any streamers that I follow? No, they don't really do anything for me to feel that urge, even if I'm financially able to.
But again this is a world where dying is so easy in the tower. So moral is definitely not the same in reality. And not all of Jaeju's viewers help him. Only a few did, most probably because they are actually strong enough to do damage to that clan. It's all about survival of the strong in the tower. Common sense is not the same.
