I think so too, and I think maybe the orb thing isn’t as simple as we think, plus I have a feeling because he didn’t grow from the flowing river rather a stagnant one, there’s gotta be something wrong there ‘cause I’m not gonna lie that last panel made him look a tad bit crazy, with him blushing and smiling like that. Or maybe it’s just me
Im rereading this story again, I think ML was sick because he keeps on rejecting the fact that MC was his mate since he doesn't remember anything from the past. Because ML was only coughing blood when they had conflict. But when they're doing okay like when they got to the villa/lake, he seems okay and no symptoms of being sick
