The "best friend"

For a moment I felt bad for the original Claire but then I remembered she kinda stole Arthur from the original Lucia in the novel. So whatever! I wouldn't mind her ending up with Arthur in this timeline though since neither Lucia nor Lucy are interested in him anymore.
But wow, The fake Claire (ie: the author best friend) looks like a real Disney villainess with her dress and her mean facial expressions, and even the cat who's terrified of her, poor little thing....
(Siiiigh)....I really hoped she was a legit best friend but it seems that even in the real world she was jealous of Lucy. Why else would she write Lucia's character while imagining Lucy? She made her into a villainess who is hated by everyone and loses everything to Claire and gave her a pitiful outcome. If that's not repressed jealousy then I don't know what is!

I didn't say otherwise? I said that it's weird how "while she was writing her villainess" she was imagining her friend all the while

Imagine imagining your friend as some villain in your novel just because you're so deeply insecure in real life. Nah. She's a terrible friend.

nahh mate, writing is more of ur own world where u write everything that's on ur minde to keep yourself sain. i do the same at times but with imaginary character. point is, its her world and she shouldn't give any expectations for it

Well that's just our point! Like you said " you write everything on your mind" So while the author was writing her villainess, she kept thinking of Lucy. Which hints at the fact that she had resentment/jealousy towards her and used her writing to vent. That's what we meant.
